01Review the current fault
Have the manufacturer, model, exact symptom and repair history ready. Explain whether the fault is constant or intermittent and what part of the practice it interrupts. The assessment should distinguish a repairable component problem from a capacity or compatibility issue before a replacement is selected.
02Compare replacement on an installed basis
A compressor or vacuum price alone does not describe the project. Discuss delivery access, removal of the existing unit, connection requirements, installation and testing. If your practice is adding operatories, include the planned workload so equipment selection is not based only on the old model.
03Plan site readiness before a delivery date
For an Irvine office installation or expansion, share the floor plan, mechanical-room layout and contractor contact. Confirm equipment placement, access for future service and which utility work must be completed before installation. The installation window should be agreed with the people responsible for the room and the equipment.
