Pricing · no surprises

How the invoice is built, before the truck rolls.

We do not publish a price list, because no two visits cost the same. We do publish exactly how a visit is priced, and we quote the trip charge for your address before anything is scheduled.

The rules

Four rules, every visit.

01

Trip charge, quoted first

Trip charge based on distance from our City of Industry shop — we quote it before we schedule. Your office is inside the 30-mile service area if it is on our service-area list.

02

Labor by time

Diagnosis comes first. If the repair is bigger than a wear part, you hear the scope before the work continues, and the time is on the invoice.

03

Parts quoted

Parts are quoted before they are installed and listed on the invoice, OEM where they exist.

04

Loaners case by case

Loaner compressors, vacuum pumps and sterilizers are arranged case by case when a repair cannot be finished on the spot.

Where the rule applies

Repair, maintenance, pickups, equipment.

The same four lines, whatever the visit is for.

FIX

Repair calls

Trip charge quoted by distance, labor by time, parts quoted. Emergency calls answered 7 days a week, quoted before dispatch.

PM

Preventive maintenance visits

Quoted like any service call: trip charge first, the visit by time, parts quoted. No contract and no published plan.

HP

Handpiece pickups

A pickup is a visit, so the trip charge applies; add them to a booked call or drop them at the shop to avoid a separate trip.

EQ

Equipment, delivery and installation

Each unit quoted individually, in writing, with delivery and installation quoted by distance anywhere in California.

Pricing questions

Asked on most first calls.

Because every visit is different: distance, the equipment, the parts and how long the repair takes. Publishing one number would be wrong for most offices. What we do publish is how the invoice is built, and we quote the trip charge before we schedule.
Trip charge based on distance from our City of Industry shop — we quote it before we schedule. The 30-mile service area is where we go on site; the trip charge still applies inside it.
By time on site. The technician diagnoses first; if the repair is more than a wear part, you hear the scope before the work continues.
Parts are quoted before they are installed and listed on the invoice. We use OEM parts where they exist and tell you when an aftermarket part is the sensible choice.
Emergency calls are answered 7 days a week and the trip charge is quoted before we dispatch, the same way as any visit. Ask when you call.
A pickup is a visit, so the trip charge applies. Adding handpieces to a service call that is already booked avoids a separate trip, and you can drop them at the shop.
Loaner compressors, vacuum pumps and sterilizers are arranged case by case when a repair cannot be finished on the spot. Ask whether one applies to your call.
Each unit is quoted individually and in writing: the unit, its warranty, delivery and installation. Delivery and installation are quoted by distance. New Tech West equipment and refurbished units follow the same rule.
